Building complex #13: Friendship Club (Panormou street)

As part of Athens_Wave, energy audits and techno-economic studies were conducted for the building located at 25 Panormou & Vatheos Street, Municipality of Athens, housing one of the Municipality’s Friendship Clubs. The building was constructed in 1952 and covers a total surface area of 493,84 m². 

The preliminary results, pending final alignment with the business plan, showcase the following expected improvements:  

• Energy consumption reduction: 58,50%
• Annual primary energy savings: 85.109,08 kWh (equivalent to €5.152,10 saved per year)
• Reduction in CO₂ emissions: 30.008,58 kg annually
• Operational cost reduction: from €8.520,10 to just €3.368,00 per year
• Staff training: recommended for optimal use of energy-efficient systems
